Ume Jar and Lid

The lid sits flush with no wobble, which makes it perfect for keeping loose tea bags and spare keys from cluttering up the counter. It’s the kind of quiet, understated piece that blends into the room without shouting for attention, and I’ve already moved it twice because it works anywhere.

Finally something that looks good on the counter and actually holds my daily odds and ends without clutter. The matte finish feels sturdy and the lid seals just enough to keep dust off, though I wish it came in a larger size.

The lid sits perfectly flush, which makes the whole thing feel really well-crafted. I keep it on my kitchen counter with wooden spoons inside and it's both practical and a nice little visual anchor for the room.
